3. INFORMATION ABOUT MINORS
Sanctuary primarily works with student-athletes and recognizes that many participants are minors. Parents or legal guardians should be involved when a minor submits personal information, completes an assessment, or participates in Sanctuary services. Our website and online assessment are not intended for children under 13 to submit personal information independently. If a child is under 13, a parent or legal guardian should contact Sanctuary before submitting personal information on the child’s behalf. Federal law imposes additional requirements when certain websites or online services knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13, including requirements concerning parental notice and verifiable parental consent. If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been submitted improperly, we will take appropriate steps to address the information in accordance with applicable law.
4. HOW INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED
Sanctuary does not sell student-athlete or parent personal information. We may share information when reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate our website, forms, database, communications, and business systems. These providers may include services such as: Framer — website hosting and presentation; Tally — online forms and assessments; Airtable — assessment and business-data management; Google Workspace — business email and related communication services. These services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when: A parent, guardian, or user directs or authorizes us to do so; Disclosure is reasonably necessary to perform a requested service; Required by law, subpoena, court order, or other lawful process; Necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Sanctuary, a student-athlete, another individual, or the public; Necessary in connection with a business restructuring, transfer, or similar lawful transaction. Sanctuary does not provide assessment information to colleges, recruiters, coaches, schools, or other outside parties merely because an athlete completes an assessment.
5. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Some information submitted through an assessment may be sensitive, particularly information related to minors, academic performance, injuries, health history, or other personal circumstances. We ask users to provide only information reasonably relevant to the assessment or service being requested. Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical records, insurance records, passwords, or other information that Sanctuary has not specifically requested.
6. DATA SECURITY

8. ACCESS, CORRECTION, AND DELETION REQUESTS
Athletes, parents, guardians, or other users may contact Sanctuary to request: Access to personal information we maintain about them; Correction of inaccurate information; Deletion of information where appropriate; Information about how their personal information is being used. Certain information may need to be retained when required by law, necessary for legitimate recordkeeping, or associated with an active contractual or legal obligation.
